Carlyle’s First Poem (Bilingual) — You Gotta Start Somewhere

From the Fountain not made

by the hands of man,

water flows into the Sea of Tranquility

in which all human problems dissolve

into their native nothingness.

       *.        *.       *.       *.

During his life, a person frolics

in the Garden of earthly delights.

He has been and then he is not.

At the end, a person loses nothing.

His consciousness just

returns to source,

Prana.

And he cares not.

God version in Spanish:

Durante su vida, una persona retoza

en el Jardín de las Delicias Terrestres.

Ha sido y luego no lo es.

Al final, una persona no pierde nada.

Su conciencia

regresa a la fuente,

Dios.
